FAQ What happens if an item is backordered? If an item you ordered is temporarily out of stock, you will be notified of the backorder and given an approximate shipping date. Due to a suppliers backorder, the shipping date is not guaranteed. A backorder may be cancelled at any time prior to shipping How do I place an order? We accept the following major credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discovercard. We also accept check or money order via mail. For Team Orders, see Team Accounts. When will my credit card be billed? Your credit card will be billed when the order is processed, usually within 24 hours. Can I cancel or change my order? If you wish to cancel or change your order once it is submitted, please contact us immediately. If the order has not shipped prior to your contacting us, we will accommodate your request. Once your order has shipped, please see Returns and Exchanges. How long will it take to get my order? Please see our Shipping Info. Can I track my order? In order to track your order, you can e-mail us at info@newwavesports.com. You will receive a response within 24-48 hours. Do I have to pay sales tax? Only New York State residents will have to pay sales tax. Can I Special Order an item? If there is an item available through one of our distributors and you do not see it on our website, please contact us for availability and price. Special orders are also available through our Team Outfitting page. Click on Team Outfitting at the top of this page. For additional Swim Team Outfitting merchandise, please contact us. How do I care for my swimsuit? DO NOT machine wash your swimsuit. Rinse your suit in cold water immediately after use to prevent damage from pool chemicals. DO NOT use detergent. DO NOT put your swimsuit in the dryer. Hang your swimsuit to dry in a well ventilated area. How should my swimsuit fit? Your swimsuit should fit snug. Swimsuits tend to stretch over the course of the season, therefore it is better to go with a smaller size. The swimsuit should not have any wrinkles when properly fitted. Our "grabbag" specials are brand new, first quality suits at terrific savings. You pick the size and we pick the color. I don't know what size to order. Can you help? Yes. We collect visitor infromation necessary to timely process orders or to aid in your customer service needs. We may also use our customer data to send information about our company, such as, sale or clearance items, or new items available through our company. Returns and Exchanges What is your return policy? We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. New Wave Sports will gladly accept returns or exchanges within 30 days of the shipment date. Any returned merchandise must be in its original unused condition, including all tags and packaging. Please contact customer service by e-mail or by telephone to receive an RA# for your return. All packages must be returned prepaid. We cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries. Returns are subject to a 20% re-stocking fee. Is there a shipping fee for an exchange? No. Since you pay the cost of shipping back your puchase, we will cover the cost of shipping out your exchange via our ground service. This offer excludes the remote states of Alaska and Hawaii. Exchanges are not subject to a re-stocking fee. Shipping Info We currently ship only to the 50 States and Canada In stock items will usually ship within 24 hours. Certain items will be drop shipped directly from our suppliers and will ship within 48-72 hours. If any items are backordered, you will be notified. Your order may be sent seperately if it consists of a mix of stock items and drop shipped items. *Please note that heavy items or multiple boxes may be subject to additional shipping charges, in which case we will contact you prior to shipping.

Clubs and Teams wanting to be billed on a net 30 day basis can contact New Wave Sports for a credit application. Upon submitting the application and a credit card, we can activate an account. Schools, Institutions and Organizations wanting to use purchase order #'s, must fax the purchase order to 631-376-0136 at time of order.
